I may be sold. The guy turned around Buffalo. Think about that. Buffalo. One of the worst programs in Division I history has been turned around in three years.

They're up 35 - 17 against undefeated Ball St.

I'm also a bit racist. I think a lot of recruits will look towards Auburn if we have an African American head coach especially if he can win some big time ball games.

Will Mushchamp, Paul Johnson, Jimbo Fisher and Turner Gill are the Front Runners for the job. Espn just said during the game that Turner Gill has been contacted by Auburn.

The guy also has a few NCs after working with Tom Osbourne. I say we go after this guy. He's no more of a risk than any of the other potential candidates. He would also bring a lot of positive publicity for Auburn considering the nation is very focused on civil rights issues. Not to mention, he's young, and if he succeeds, he could be a great coach for Auburn for a long long time.

Unlike the 2008 presidential election, I feel like I've finally found a candidate I'd vote for. Bring on Turner Gill.

Skip to 1:45. I love this guy. Also, since he's not exactly the most experienced coach in the world, we could get away with paying him less, which opens up more money for better assistants.

He IS very articulate and well spoken.

I had to say it. Who was the person that said that was the first thing we would hear if we went after a black coach?

I wasn't sure about him before, but he seems to have a love for the kids. The only issue I see is that a man with those kinds of convictions would find it VERY difficult to just up and leave. And money is not the end all to be all for some people.

I would be proud to have him as a coach. Not as a black man, but as a good man.

I had doubts before this game, but after watching that Jay better have him at a high #1.

I was listening to the JOX guys making fun of him on Wednesday. Saying "You wanna see what he's like, watch him against the mighty Ball St. tomorrow night," insinuating that he would get crushed.

This guy looks like one of the very few that can replace Tubs in terms of character, and I don't care what anyone says, there's something to a guy that can take the worst team in D1 and make them conference champions in three years.

I Hope, man I hope, that Auburn can bring in a man of his character....his humility. A man that wouldn't throw his players under the proverbial bus, unlike a certain coach that makes $4 Mil.

You can add a new name to the Auburn coach searching list in Ball State head coach Brady Hoke. ESPN reported that Hoke will interview with Auburn. Hoke led the Cardinals to an undefeated regular season before falling to Buffalo 42-24 in the Mid-American Conference championship game.
