Rumor alert:

But I just heard Tubs to MS St and Leach is front runner. The MS St. Rumor is all over a big company that used to have major ties with Auburn...

Leach is going to UW.

Tuberville would most likely retire before he took a job in Starkville.

Rumors are mostly stupid.

Why would Leach want to come to a school that just fired the man that tried to implement the spread???  We don't have anybody with an arm like Graham Harrell nor would we get one...

True. BUT, Leach has made a lot of average QB's look like first round picks only to turn out to suck it up in the pros. I am not saying I want him, I am just saying that's what I heard...and Leach would be dumb to go to UW...

The difference here would be Leach, should he be named the coach, would bring in assistants who were committed to the spread (whereas Franklin had to deal with a pack of backwards thinking jackals). The Franklin experiment was an exercise in futility from the get go, but bring in an entire staff that are singing from the same hymn book and I really think it'd take off.

Barrett Trotter could be the Graham Harrell type QB to run this system at Auburn.

Mike Leach?  No.

We'll have to see.  I'm not sure there is ANY way to predict what will work at this time until more elements come together.

Please go back and read what I wrote after the first game of the season.  I have the gift of second sight. Sixth sense. Fourth Meal.

Leach would be a disaster that would make the 2008 debacle look like a tickle fight with Allessandra Ambrosio.

Don't know enough yet to make that judgement.  I'd rather see Muschamp anyway, but I wouldn't go jump off a bridge if it was Leach...

Now Petrino or Paul Johnson....fuck that shit......

Good God...

What in the blazing purple hell makes anyone think Muschamp is ready to run an SEC-level program?  He's never even wiped his own ass.  He's as ready as I am.

Mike Leach? Are you SHITTING me? The fuck has exactly one good season in his history.  In the previous eight years he's averaging FOUR FUCKING LOSSES A SEASON. Why in the name of MikeDuBose would we trade one guy who averages four losses a year, a guy we know and are comfortable with, for that Quasimodo-looking four-loss-averaging fuck?

If the people doing the hiring have the sense of a common field rat, they'll find somebody who has head coaching experience and a history of winning in difficult places.  There's an Urban Meyer or Jim Tressel out there.  But if that fucking magoo Jay Jacobs keeps looking under the same dumbass rocks they've always looked under -- Leach, Petrino, Grobe, Kragdorke, etc -- all he's going to find are turds.  And we get to eat the shit sandwich.

I won't jump off a bridge if they hire Mike Tyson, Allen Iverson, Richard Simmons or Lance Bass. I love Auburn and it goes way beyond a damn football game. I'd love Auburn if they never won or if there wasn't a football team. I just hate the way Auburn does business these days.  Shitbags like Jacobs are changing Auburn from what I knew and loved into something I don't know any more.

Jim Tressel came from YOUNGSTOWN STATE, the God Damn Mutha Fuckin Penguins. If AU names a HC from DI AA, we might as well ask the NCAA to give us the Death Penalty, b/c we'd lose most of our Fickle fanbase, recruits, and then our games....Now, the DI AA HC could be the next $abban....we'd never fuckin know, b/c the majority of the fanbase would giveup our they'd fight back through the Airwaves and/or paper.
Would an Urban Meyer type HC excite anyone??? Most would say no, off the bat, "b/c this is the SEC and that stuff aint gonna work." Remeber those words?
We want a HC that makes a Big Splash...Right? So, who's that "Clear The Pool, Fatty's Gonna Swan Dive!!" type of guy?  I know of one that could be a Reallly Good hire and he'll be on display this Friday when they knock down an Unbeaten.

This goes for all of the "Bitch About A Free New Car" type of people. Whoever the new HC will be......Don't Fuckin Complain About Him, MAN UP, Pull the, God Damn, Dildo outta your ass, and stand strong...united as one, behind the NEW HC, God Damn IT.....WAR, COCK SUCKIN' MUTHA FUCKIN', EAGLE!!!!!!!!

I pray this is not Jay Jacob's Christmas list.

For the record...

Louisville fans hate Kragthorpe.  Or at least the one UL fan I know hates him.  My poll is at 100%.

Kragthorpe took a UL team that won a BCS bowl and returned the bulk of their starters...and ran them into a losing season.

Fuck Kragthorpe.

If we're going that route, then let's get Graham/Malzahn from Tulsa.
