Auburn, Tuberville Still TalkingAuburn, Ala. - Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville and athletic director Jay Jacobs met for a couple of hours Tuesday morning.What happened during that meeting and Tuberville's future at Auburn is still very much in doubt.Tuberville left Auburn's athletic complex Tuesday afternoon without commenting. Jacobs spoke briefly with reporters as he left Tuesday evening.Tommy Tuberville plans to meet with Jay Jacobs again Wednesday. "Tommy and I met this morning and we'll continue to meet for the next couple of days," Jacobs said.Jacobs went on to say that Tuesday's meeting "went good" and he'd like to have a resolution this week.When asked if he was concerned the delay in a decision on Tuberville's future at Auburn was bad for the program, Jacobs shook his head no.Tuesday's meeting comes a day after Tuberville met with both Jacobs and Auburn President Jay Gogue and three days after Auburn finished 5-7 with a 36-0 loss to Alabama, the Tigers' worst Iron Bowl setback in more than 45 years.Just a year ago, Tuberville and Jacobs spent nearly two weeks negotiating a two-year extension to his contract that lasts through 2013 at an average of $3.3 million. According to the terms of his contract Tuberville is set to receive a $6 million buyout if the deal is terminated. He will receive $3 million within 30 days of its termination and another $3 million in one year.Tuberville has an 85-40 record in 10 seasons at Auburn. He's overall record is 110-59, including four years at Ole Miss.
