What the Recruits are Saying - A Case for Termination.

What the Recruits are Saying - A Case for Termination.

Terrence Coleman - I haven't heard from any of the coaches in a while.

David Connor - I haven't heard from any of the coaches in a while.

Reggie Taylor - I haven't heard from any of the coaches in a while.

You get paid to coach AND recruit.  It's completely unacceptable to become so complacent that you forget about your current commits.  Tuberville was recently quoted as saying recruiting is pretty much all wrapped up.  It's par for the course; Tuberville believes that when things are going well, he doesn't have work to do.

For those wondering why that Satanic chimp in Tuscaloosa is known as a relentless recruiter, it's because he still heavily recruits his current commits and our commits.

Don't be surprised to see Atchinson go to West Vance.

Don't be surprised to see West Vance claim another Rivals NC.

Rivals. I read the same thing yesterday in an article but was too busy to post. Here is the article that I read. Not only have they not heard, they don't know why...and they all add, maybe I will hear something soon...

In Tubby's defense(and yes I know it is a really weak defense), but the kids that said they have not heard are "solid" commitments. They are really focusing on the kids like Luts and Atchinson and kids like that that seem to be wavering...but really, how hard is it to at least pick up a phone. Is it against the rules to contact these kids at least every week???

Mobile (Ala.) Williamson DL Terrance Coleman committed to Auburn in February, the Tigers' first verbal pledge in the 2009 class.

The 6-foot-1, 244-pound Coleman wants to make sure of that decision, and will do so by taking all five of his official visits.

Coleman plans to take all five of his official visits.
"I haven't set up one to Auburn yet, but I'll probably take it in January," he said. "I'm going to take one to Arkansas for sure. I just don't know the date. I'm also going to take one to Alabama, Ole Miss and Southern Miss.

"I'm committed, but I am going to take my visits, look around and make sure Auburn is the right place for me."

Coleman planned to be in Tuscaloosa on an unofficial visit this past weekend for the Iron Bowl, but was unable to make it. Still, he watched the 36-0 Tide win on television.

"Alabama has a great team," said Coleman. "I thought Alabama might win, but I didn't think it would be a blowout."

Coleman, nephew to Auburn defensive end Antonio Coleman, said he hopes to set a date for his visit to the Plains soon.

"I haven't talked to anybody from Auburn lately, but I probably will soon," he said. "I want to get a date set for my visit."

Other Commitment News:

*** Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter four-star TE Philip Lutzenkirchen spoke to Auburn recruiter Steve Ensminger last week and expects the Tiger coach to be by for an in-home visit in the coming days.

AuburnSports.com

Lutzenkirchen said an Auburn coach would be by for an in-home visit soon.
"They said if they didn't come this week, they would come next week," Lutzenkirchen said Sunday night.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has taken official visits to Florida State and Auburn, but doesn't have any others set up at this time.

*** Bessemer (Ala.) Academy LB Harris Gaston had successful surgery last week to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Auburn recruiter Terry Price is expected to make an in-home visit with the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder soon.

"Surgery went good," said Gaston. "I talked to coach Price late last week. He was checking on me. He is supposed to come see me next Friday."

Gaston's only official visit will be to Auburn.

"I haven't set it up, but it will be sometime in January," said Gaston. "I'm set on Auburn."

*** Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview RB Brandon Jacobs spoke Sunday with recruiter Greg Knox. An in-home visit is in the works.

"I talked to him (Sunday)," said Jacobs. "He said he is going to be taking a visit up here to my house soon. I think he'll be here Monday or Tuesday."

Jacobs said he'd likely take an official visit to Auburn in January. No others are planned at this time.

*** Batesville (Miss.) South Panola DB David Conner, a Clarion Ledger Dandy Dozen selection, said he would likely take his official visit to Auburn in January as well, although he hasn't heard from the Tigers lately.

"Nobody at all," Conner said. "Hopefully I'll hear something soon."

Conner and South Panola play Meridian Friday night in the state title game. A win would mean a 5A state title and 90th win in a row.

*** Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County four-star DB Reggie Taylor hasn't set a date, but will take an official visit in January. He's not planning any others at this time.

"That will be my only one," he said. "I plan to take it in January, but I haven't heard from Auburn lately so I haven't set a date."

If Tuberville is going to fire his coordinators and lose all but 5 games than at least pick up the phone call a commit and let them know you're still alive. Call them and let them know they're still very important to you. It's completely unacceptable to become so complacent that you forget about your current commits. Tuberville was recently quoted as saying "recruiting is pretty much all wrapped up." Sorry Tuberville, it doesn't work that way. NOBODY HAS SIGNED AN LOI! You haven't "WRAPPED UP" anybody. Almost every big recruit we have is taking visits to other schools all the while "not hearing from any of the coaches in a while" over at Auburn. Tuberville believes that when things are going well, he doesn't have work to do. DOES HE UNDERSTAND HOW HARD THE GUY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STATE IS FIGHTING TO TAKE WHOEVER HE WANTS? DO YOU HEAR HIM SAYING "RECRUITING IS PRETTY MUCH WRAPPED UP"? GEEEZ!!!

For those wondering why that Satanic chimp in Tuscaloosa is known as a relentless recruiter, it's because he goes to the end fighting for recruits.. current commits, the uncommitted and and our commits.

Don't be surprised to see Atchinson go to West Vance.

Don't be surprised to see West Vance claim another Rivals NC.

Here's a start, because the type of jorts would definitely describe the recruits ability.

I just came back to check some posts and realized you all already noticed that folks on AUN are GUILTY of plagiarism.

Seriously - how stupid can you get?

Anyways - back to topic - I don't care if you're 250% committed.  You have to keep recruiting these guys.
