Three Months of Trump
« on: March 28, 2025, 09:47:54 AM »
Hard to believe Trump has been in office only a little over three months. Curious what you think of where we are.  There are "conflicting" reports.  I was extremely happy Trump was re-elected (for the second time) because of the economic, moral, and foreign policy horrors that had been championed by whoever was jerking Biden's strings. And the horrific corruption.

I'm pleased now with the blunt and decisive action and a lot of the DGAF responses. The "you'll never be a woman" comment recently is exactly the kind of no-nonsense 'back to reality' I feel most of this country wants and needs.

I am DIS-GUS-TED by the Democrats who are blatantly defending their corruption. What's interesting to me is that as they double down on their support of corrupt policies, abortion, LGBr549 "men" invading women's sports, and other (lunatic) fringe policies they are neutering themselves. I can't think of a time in recent memory when Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer, and that ilk have been less relevant. It's also interesting to me that the gaslight media is also losing relevance at the same shockingly rapid rate.

I am also sickened by activist judges who should have no authority overstepping their bounds and trying to blunt all the positive actions this administration is enacting. There needs to be a purge.

Not that everything's perfect. There are things I'd prefer take precedence over others, there are things I wish they would or wouldn't do.  But overall, what I feel is hope.  Hope that we can stop the globalists - maybe for at least a generation. Hope that we can reverse the ludicrious out-of-control spin of the moral compass. Hope that we can reverse the invasion at our borders (and make no mistake it is an invasion - an act of war waged by the left/globalist/socialist/communists).  Hope that we can end the waste (waste I've seen personally on a regular basis working with state/federal contracts) in government - and make it smaller.

What are your thoughts?  (Even though I will disagree vehemently, wes, you're encouraged to respond).

I agree with everything you say, but I do think someone needs to lose their job over this signal group chat fiasco.

I agree with getting the new, taboo gender ideologies out of government policy.  I agree with shrinking government & being more fiscally responsible.  I agree with the principle that we should have a society that thrives based on merit, rather than looking through the lens of skin color/gender.  I also agree that these judges are way overstepping, and that they have no authority to make decisions as it relates to national security.

I will say, while I agree with a stronger immigration policy, that I wish they had made an easier path to citizenship before taking a one size fits all on deportations approach.  I also very much dislike executive orders to lop down trees in our national parks.  There were also regulations cut on pollutants being introduced into freshwater sources that I can't get down with.

I hold a firm belief that it can't all be good & it can't be all bad.  The good just needs to outweigh the bad. The jury is still out on that piece, but I have a healthy dose of hope.

And this. But who?

Whoever had that jackhole reporter in their contacts.  It’s not the software.  That’s been approved and in use for a decade all over the place.

I want to try to stay away from conspiracy theories BUT if you connect the dots and look with a critical eye, something is really fishy wirh the whole thing.  On top of that the reporter’s behavior has a strong whiff of treason.

@Snake - I strongly disagree with the easier path to citizenship.  Kid and cookie scenario…. Kid goes into a grocery store and steals a cookie. Owner catches him but doesn’t punish. “Just have the cookie..” What are that little thug’s friends gonna do? Come get cookies and whatever else. I know some guys who came over legally. I know the years-long struggle they went through to earn citizenship. I know how proud they were and how patriotic they are.  To reward border hopping drains on society over guys like that who did it right? No thanks.  I’d rather send them back and shoot anybody who tries to come back across.

Whoever added the journalist should be gone. And investigated as to why.

Trump and Elon told us what they were going to do in the first two weeks. They are going to push as much stuff through as possible, and then fight it out. In his last term, he signed stuff, but go no action. He wants action early and hopefully the EOs come to fruition by the end of his term.

I am pleased with the exposure of the corruption thus far. Now we need to prosecute some folks.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

This right here. There’s a reason they made it a bit difficult.

Let's look at some realities.

In 2016, Trump stunned the democratic party by knocking out the most loathsome, hideous, dangerous candidate in American history - Hillary Clinton.  In that election he recieved 62 million votes.

In 2020, after and despite four years of relentless political attacks and disingenuous media assaults (lies), Trump GAINED 12 million votes. But we were supposed to belived and accept that a brain-dead potato who drew tens and tens of people to his occasional "rallies" somehow collected 81 million votes - a statistical impossibility.

Over the next four years, the relentless attacks on Trump became even more desperate. The democrats weaponized the judicial system. They weaponized law enforcement. They peddled the orchestrated January 6 fraud. And somehow, against all odds, it only made him stronger. Trump gained even more votes. He anniilated another loathesome, moronic candidate with a 79 million vote total.

That, to me, is the most telling indicator of all. The demoncrats may be louder, they may create more ambient noise. They may claim to speak for "the American people" but year after year the trend turns more and more against the lunacy they stand for.

Therein lies the hope.
