Just to combine news for the two programs in one thread.  My claim to fame, and complete knowledge of these two teams is, I know one of the starting pitchers for the baseball team. He's dating my niece.  That sums up everything I know about them. 

The dudes came back and beat Troy, who is ranked #25, in dramatic fashion last night.  They've started the season 3-1.

The chicks are smoking, with an 11-0 start.

From looking at the schedule, they've played a nice mix of teams, including some Power 5's like Virginia and North Carolina.  I'm curious how the Co-Head Corch-Husband/Wife thing works out.  Were they Co-Head Corches before?

For the baseball team, I knew they had a monster recruiting class, and have 10 true freshmen on the roster.  I recognize a few returning starters, with Ike Irish being one of the better players in the nation.  I'm ready for Auburn baseball to make some noise again.

On a stadium note, I saw back during the Fall, they were adding what I think are some luxury boxes on the first base side.  Would love to see the completed project.

I don’t argue that the landscape of college athletics is changing but to say that these sports won’t exist in five years is a little out there.  They will still be around.

It's a message board. The whole point is to be out there. If you want news, well, I'm not sure where you can get that either, but point it, this whole place is a joke and should be filled with mirth and laughter and talk of ale, women, steaks, and other cool stuff.

AU baseball moves to 4-1 with a 6-2 win over North Alabama.  Great pitching.  Gave up two hits and 2 runs in the first.  Shut them out on only 2 more hits the rest of the way.

Dudes move to 8-1 with a 15-8 win over Samford.  Things pick up this weekend with a trip out to Arlington, Tejas to face Ohio State, Oregon State and Baylor.

The guys went out to Arlington and took all 3 games, beating Ohio State, #8Oregon State, and Baylor.  Outscored their opponents 28-11.  They move to 11-1 on the season.

The ladies kept it rolling with 5 more wins, and sit at 19-1.  One game against Troy before they open SEC play on the road against Miss. State.

Béisbol Tigres dropped one to a decent-looking UAB club 6-5 last night. I thought Carlson looked mostly dominant in relief duty. The tables turned when facing UAB's Tyler Harrington, who had a very impressive 10 pitch at-bat fighting off strikes and staying patient enough to lay off pitches outside of the zone.

Up next: Old Dominion on 3/7 @ 6pm to kick off a weekend series.  Next weekend, conference play begins with Vandy.
