On the field, Auburn has been teh suxxors, but recruiting remains at an all-time high, currently sitting at #3 in the country.  Saw a piece highlighting some of the commits, and what they’re doing so far.  Most teams in high school have played around 7 games to this point in the season.

Jared Smith  5 Star Edge Rusher

Malik Autry  5 Star D-Lineman

12 Tackles  6 TFL  Note: Opelika came down to Dothan this past weekend.  I couldn’t make it, but a couple of friends went to the game to see Autry.  They said he unloads well, but that’s about it.  Huge guy, but not much else to say about him.

Deuce Knight  4 Star Quarterback

23-35 for 516 yards and 7 TD
134 Rushing Yards  Note:  Has only played in 3 games

I always had questions about Deuce Knight's accuracy, but those numbers aren't too shabby.  Especially for only playing in 3 games so far this season.

I'm really excited about Anquon Fegans.  Saw him play on the ESPN's earlier this year, and he's the real deal.  Another real dealer down this way is Eric Winters from Enterprise.  With those two coming in, and how young some of our DB's are right now, the future is bright as a Gus Malzahn press conference.

So I don't expect Deuce to be any better than Walker at progressions.
The scribes report Walker has all the arm strength and is an ace at 7 on 7. Not so spiffy at 11 on 11.
