I’m Southern. I get dropping letters at the end of words. But when did it become a thing to drop the “T” in the middle of words?
When did Peyton become “pay-uhhhn” or Brighton become “bri-uhhhn”?
Watching Mountain Dew commercial and the announcer guy is is pronouncing it “Mou-uhhhn Doo” WHY?
Is this why Americans are so fat? Too lazy to even enunciate a T?
