I thought I'd see more catches for KLS.  Maybe it's because he was the man this past Saturday, but it seems like he's about the only real target.

Through 4 games, we have 8 total sacks and 4 interceptions.

And it's not just that we have them, it's when they happen.  Turnovers at the 1 yard line, the 23, and the 27.  That's at worst 13 points off the board.

We have to learn to win as a team. Don't care if our QBs throw the ball away or throw for 50%. We can stay in this game by not giving it away.


I happen to think our offense can score 4 touchdowns on anyone. We have a defense that will get burned by busted coverage a few times per game but they play very hard.

This team can redeem itself against Oklahoma.  Auburn doesn't have to be a turnover machine on offense.

The stat that matters most is the scoreboard.

GH is right. Stop turning the ball over and the scoreboard is much more in our favor.

However, Hugh's teams going back to Liberty and now at Auburn have turned the ball over a lot. (Best ranking nationally was in the 50s and that was only once.) It's not all that different from Mike Leach offenses. They turned it over, too. They also didn't coach and play scared. Stop yanking QBs in an out. That's bad. Ride a dude. If he goes down in flames, oh well. Buy a better one in December/January.

Not making a bowl this year, boys. Accept that. It's all about keeping the recruiting class together and the ones who are already here from portal transferring to a playoff team.

Next year - Bowl/7 wins is the goal.
2026 - 10 wins should be the goal.
2027- Serious playoff contender or gtfo.

I have been mostly critical in the past but I truly believe we have the elements in place if we can eliminate the bad throws. Maybe Freeze is coaching like he believes it as well just expecting too much.

And an Auburn run game should be able to score two rushing tds on ANYBODY.

Tyler Sisky was on Charlie5's The Barn show this morning. Full disclosure - I do not like him. I do not like McCready. They are Ole Miss asshats. But....

He knows Freeze as well as anyone having worked for him at ASU and OM. Even made the point its not about whether you love him or hate him, etc etc....just purely on the field, he swears this offense is NOT that hard, and put a lot of the blame here on terrible decision making by the "mid" QBs. He ran through the RPO stuff that Freeze runs and scenarios.....Noted that Thorne is really the first QB under Freeze at the D1 level to have this much trouble grasping it (and possibly Hank Brown at SEC Speed - but yet TBD fully).

I tend to agree here. I think we just don't have good QB's and they make terrible choices in the RPO. But thats ultimately on Freeze not having a solid QB option. His biggest fault here is NOT getting a portal QB this past winter/spring.

Agree with you guys.
Thorne had an offense at Michigan State that was better suited for him. Brown is just young and more of a pro style QB.
Freeze's past QBs were dual threats and nearly all threw a large number of picks.

We can still overcome this with better choices on when to throw. Might lead to more punts but not as many short fields.

Freeze said we are down to 4 corners. That might be out greatest worry heading into the fifth game.

Not against that bunch. They are more than likely going to run and play defense/keep away in this game. I don't bet but I'd take the under on the points in this one. Feels like a 13-7 kind of slog.
