Highlighting a Known Weakness is Making Excuses

Okay this is becoming a standard.

Yes our secondary was lost to the draft and graduation. We acknowledge that.

Why must Hugh Freeze play into this pattern of blame week after week? It surely doesn't help any of the kids when he puts a fucking spotlight on them.

I know two things. Kieonte Scott is a safety. Sylvester Smith is a safety.

Scott is dealing with a hamstring so he should be shelved until fully fit. We can find a wideout to field punts.

We have young mostly inexperienced corners that haven't played but one game.
I'm not counting the opener against A@Ms band.

Yes the corners were exposed by Mendoza and the Cal offense.
The second half was somewhat an improvement in coverage after reviewing film so we are told.

Corner:
Get in the right coverage, shadow your guy and find the fucking ball. You're going to get beat. It's nuanced and there's a heap of hands and leverage involved.
We get it. Your opponent knows where he is going. You have this much time to react. Oh btw, you have to play the run too. It can be very brutal if those on the front seven are getting beat.

We have safeties. Auburn has always had stellar safeties.

All I'm saying is find about six kids that can run and grapple like their next meal depends on it... and stick with them.
STFU, coach them up and stop making excuses.

You might disagree but bringing in eight more "DBs" to replace the eight that didn't work out isn't coaching... it's poor recruiting.

What's with all the white space?

This is not new for CHF or many other coaches. And I agree it's  :bs:
