Just to get the ball rollin’, because come this Saturday, there’s going to be some college football to watch. Not asking for any predictions, unless you actually have an interest. Just getting the Pre-Dick-Shuns thread warmed up.
Florida State and Georgia Tech travel across the pond to play each other in….Ireland. Why? Even though I’m not a fan of it, I get why the NFL has been trying to go global for years now. $$$$ And I understand maybe Notre Dame doing the Ireland thing, but two random college football teams??? I have no idea what they’re trying to accomplish here.
Anywhose…Draft Kings has the Noles installed as 10.5 point favorites. In my vast, in-depth preseason research….a well-worn Lindy’ next to the terrlet…the Jackets should be much improved. FSU lost a lot, including QB, Jordan Travis, but they’ve now got DJ Ukeleleguilalulagay under center for his 6th team. Plus, the Nole offense is predicted to start 10 seniors, and one junior. I think the Noles cover.
Montana is an 11 point favorite over one of our early OOC opponents, New Mexico minus the State.
SMU is 25 better than Nevada, and the Delaware St. Hornets, not Blue Hens, travel to Hawaii as 39 point dogs. Problem is, State missed their buses and flight, so they are stuck at a hotel in New York, and may not make it there for the game.
Just a little CFB to whet the whistle.
