I admit, I love me some Tik Tok.  Just as entertaining as surfing around the Youtoobs TV to find something interesting.  I had heard rumblings of a move to ban the app because of their ties to the Chinesians, but I haven't taken that seriously, or paid that much attention to it.  Apparently, I should.  There's a bill moving through quickly that proposes to do just that.  And this is not a Republican vs. Democrat issue.  It's getting major bipartisan support.

There must be evidence of some actual threat or harm coming through use of the app.  I just watch it to see hot girls flash shots of their panties.  Anyone know more details?

It is everything they say it is. But we Americans love our funnys.
Its not TikTok itself that is the problem, its ByteDance, the Chinese owned company that spies on your every click.
While they are at it, they should ban FB too. That platform is set up to suppress specific targeted opinions. Which is about the same threat to the US as TikTok.
