Video Board - North End Zone

Auburn BOT recently approved.  Won't be as ginormous as the one on the South Siiiiide (2 fangas), but now we will be able to watch TV from anywhere in the stadium just as if we were watching it at home. 

Honestly, don't know how to feel about it.  As everything becomes more & more big business in the college game, we are sacrificing pageantry & tradition.

Any opinions, Gentlemen?

They definitely need to do something on that endzone.

I'd prefer* a sort of open-air pavilion setup of some sort atop the existing seats, but under the new board.


*my standing opening demand for stadium upgrades is chairback seats.  FUCK a bleacher.

I will buy the dy-no-mite, and hire an explosives expert to blow the current XL 6000 Fan Cam Jumbotron to smithereens.

Preach it, brother.  I don't feel like I ever have back problems until I am scrunched into those small bleachers without back support for 3+ hours.

I'm the choir.  Preach to me too.  And right now, the stadium is 64% or 174/295ths full of those rental stadium seats.  My seat in Section 8, Row 44 is #9.  Everybody on the row in front of me has them, and you literally can't squeeze between the chair backs and the people on my row without sitting down in a couple of people's laps on the way to and from my seat. Sometimes, that's a good thing....IF you know what I mean.

I look at the north end scoreboard for the essentials...down, distance, time outs etc.  I'm fine with an upgrade to it, it's been there fo-evah.  But, keep it fairly simple and easy to read, where you can glance up and find what you need.

Oh, and after you blow up the Super Jacobstron, go ahead and shoot the DJ.
