Dropped my laptop, broke the screen. Being repaired, but will take 4-6 weeks. Given the nature of my business, I can't be without that long. Bought a new machine.
Trying to load it up and the relentless push to use Bing and Edge is obnoxious. I couldn't just load Chrome, Firefox, or any alternate browser. I had to download a routine and bypass some built-in lock that prevented me from installing those.
Chrome now just disappears every so often and Edge opens itself up with a "you need no other browser!" message. The option to use a different automatic search (not Bing, nobody wants Bing) is buried and not easy to find.
Makes me despise Microsoft even more.
