Caldwell got it right. We're among the top forty and probably win about 12 conference games. Going deep in the tourney is about matchups, same for WT.

UF knocked off UK (in Rupp) in another wild SEC matchup.

Ours was a nice, palate cleansing thrashing...but we should have beat them by 50.  We're still playing really loose/sloppy with the ball and making stupid turnovers.  3 over-and-back calls is fucking ridiculous.

It was a solid conference win, but there is some fools gold there: home game, Vandy is undersized...and just bad mostly...

Saturday at OM will be a better test to see if these guys learned anything from losing two in a row.

I’m spoiled too.  I was aggravated at losing to a Bama team that is inferior.  Resigned to the hangover loss at State. 

But Vandy isn’t “bad”.   Yes. We’ve given them their two worst losses.  But look at the rest.

Within three of Bama.  Most of their losses are one or two possession games until the last few minutes when UT, MSU, LSU ans OM pulled away late.

I have gotten spoiled.  After the Pig Roast, I was expecting us to win the conference going away.  Then our flaws were exposed.  Holloway has not evolved to the college game very well.  He took some atrocious shots last night.  He had some good looks but couldn’t knock them down.  Denver Jones finally showed what he is capable of early on last night and then again in the second half.  Jaylin still disappears at times.  He could take over a game if he would. 

Last night was businesslike.  The usual manic energy from KD and Dylan wasn’t there.  They took care of business but they were subdued. 

We got sloppy in the last half of the first half and still led by 10 at the break and I was a little disappointed. 

Like most Auburn teams, this one continues to be a mystery. 

Did anyone else know that our golf team is number 1 in the nation?   They were recognized at the half.

The rule is that both feet and the ball have to be in front court before you can have a backcourt violation.  It is a funky rule that sometimes gives an optical illusion.

The loss to MSU, albeit on the road, was the one that was to disappoint.  Simply because we couldn't throw it in the river.  Dropping that one at Bama doesn't look too bad now.  Hate to lose to the Turds anytime, but we haven't played well in Crapman Coliseum.  And Bama is the hottest team in the league right now at 7-1.  Then, you look back on their schedule, and some of their losses are to the likes of Creighton, Arizona and Purdue.

Funny how this league is, given the fact that Sakerlina has already beaten Kentucky and now, Tennessee.  UT handled Bama easily, but Bama went to Columbia and hammered the Cocks by almost 30.  We beat the dog shit out of Ole Miss, look awful against MSU, then OM whips the Dawgs. 

Gonna' get much mo cray cray before it's over.
