At age 12 or 13 Jmar went on his first double date to an afternoon showing of Love Story at the Plaza Theatre at the local strip mall.
I didn't know anything of Harvard snobbery or even girls for that matter but I was a willing participant and nobody got hurt.

Why they didn't run with that plot longer as his love interest is beyond me. As opposed to Helen Fukin Crump.

She had a drug problem even then.  And she was a little weird.
