He’s a damn good athlete but I don’t see him as making it as an SEC QB. If he could have developed some accuracy and l learned when to tuck it and run a little better, I think we would have been great. But, that’s not uncommon with great runners. Nick Marshall was a great college qb, imo. He had a knack for making the right decision in RPOs. Thorne has to improve with it. And his accuracy.

One of the things that really gives Thorne a leg up with this is that he is white. Genetically, he is more likely to understand the complexities of Freeze’s offense because caucasians have much larger brains. I saw this in a documentary narrated by David Duke.

It’s really only one. One read.  I didn’t watch much of his play this year.  But he didn’t read anything under Halfmoon.  He was illiterate.

Robby was the football teams version of Wendel Green re.!. He was hero ball. He rarely attempted to make any read. He kept the ball in some of the most obvious “give” situations. He cannot throw against SEC talent. And if he can’t make basic option reads, then there is absolutely no reason to have him at QB. It’s time for both parties to move in.
I was rooting for him this season. I thought maybe he had gotten better at reading the option and throwing the ball. He did not. And it was not because of consistent playing time.
