I heard a long time ago that DC burned the bridge to AU and I think the final straw was when he left the last time. Wasn’t it to go to LSU with Jimbo? Anyway, he left us high and dry, talked us down on the recruiting trail and did some things apparently behind the scenes to rub a couple of boosters the wrong way. I have no idea what or if that’s true but the words were that: “that ship has sailed.”

I believe them because Snags is usually in on the high level negotiations for hiring and firings of coaches, getting cash to recruits and now NIL deals. He knows what the fuck is going on.
