Auburn football landed its highest-rated pledge of the 2025 class so far when No. 1 ranked athlete Kendarius Reddick from Thomasville, Georgia announced his commitment to Hugh Freeze’s team Thursday.

Reddick is rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 41 overall player in the 247Sports composite ranking as well as the top athlete. His Instagram post lists him as a safety, where he has played frequently in high school and Reddick was recruited by Auburn defensive backs coach Zac Etheridge.

Nope. One is Riddick from Chilton County, AL. This guy is Reddick from Jawja.

The genius always went for the skilled guys first and we struggled to get quality offensive linemen and front seven guys after they were picked over.

THIS is the way you build a program.

I do (reluctantly) agree with HF that this is the way to ensure that you have the foundation upon which you can pick and choose a difference maker at the skill positions come transfer time.

You can also wear team's down when you have a better talent up front even when your not playing especially well.
It's happened to us against our greatest rivals.

Year before last, when FUGA came down to JHS, we played them just about straight up for a half. I clearly remember FUGA coming out in the second half and saying, "We're running it between the tackles from here on out, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it." They knew they were bigger, more talented, and fresher than we were. It was ugly.

On Monday, we lost one 3 star, Hollis Davidson, but added 4* Tyler Lockhart. According to 247, that puts us #10 in the nation, and #4 in the SEC.

We have 10 commits, with 8 of them being 4*. We sit behind LSU, Oklahoma and Bama.

Not only is UFree already building a loaded class talent-wise, but when have we ever had double digit commits in early May?
