Was having a discussion with someone who wanted to add some options to gender selection other than Male/Female. 

By their own admission, "nearly 1.2 million people identify as non-binary or other." 

Sounds like a lot, right?  Let's look at it this way. 

There are roughly 340 million people in the US.  If the self-proclaimed 1.2 number is correct, do the math. 

1.2/300 = .0035

Expressed as a percentage, that's .3%. POINT 3.  In other words 1/3 of 1%. 

If they were pennies, you'd need 300 just to make a dollar. 

We HAVE to stop bending the will of the 99.7% of the population to satisfy the ridiculous whims of the .3%.

Part of the problem is that a sizeable portion of the 99.7% are advocating loudly for that .3%, because it is their responsibility to keep up with the tribe that places immense pressure on agreeing with certain things to "be a good person".

Don't get me wrong.  I truly love everyone (even if I dislike them) and wish for them to have a happy life.  It's the attempt to dictate speech, individual thought, and the "virtue signaling" that I hate.  The incessant need for validation is all the evidence needed to know that "your truth" is a farce. 

In regards to my previous comment, all I have are anecdotal examples of left leaning family members that just seem to ride the wave of the latest trendy thing that their party spews in the media.  These are supposed to be very educated, critical thinkers.  They don't let that part of their identity get in the way of riding that wave.

If you do decide to experiment some more, make sure you spray it down with Pam or put some cooking oil in it. And most importantly, DO NOT heat the pan on the stovetop or in the oven. Or, anywhere. Make sure the pan is room temperature before sticking your dick in it.
