Despite what everyone thinks about ESPN, their politics, etc., if you watch sports, you still watch that network. There are certain personalities/analysts that I like. Ryan Clark (Absolute favorite foosball analyst), Dan Orlovsky. JJ Redick to name a few. Quite a few I turn off every time. Screamin A Smith, Kendrick Mushmouth Perkins…
They’re currently going through a shake up with their talent, and letting a bunch of them go. In what they’re terming a cost cutting move, 20 are being let go, including, Jeff Van Gundy, Jalen Rose, Suzy Kobler, Max Kellerman, Keyshawn Johnson, Matt Hasselbeck, Steve Young, and Neil Everett. However, they decided to sign Pat McAfee to a five year, $85 million contract. McAfee has been on Game Day this past year, and to me, brings nothing top the table. I’d rather listen to Finebaum up there.
I Google Chromed ESPN personalities/analysts, and was blown away. At first, I was surprised at 20 people being let go. Then, I saw just how many people they employ as their talent. 20 is an absolute drop in the bucket.
