Well, long-ass flight trip anyway.

I had somehow forgotten that we play Cal this year...on my birthday.

Might have to treat myself to a trip to NoCal for a week or so.

Agree on the beer and food. Was there back in Late January. There are still good pockets of things out in Cali. I'll pass on the weed though. More for you I guess.

And mostly northern tourists now thus the exodus of the <200 milers to SoWal. Much nicer down there to me. I think ole weskie used to live down that way if he still doesn’t.

We love our snowbird friends. They come. They pay rent. They spend money. They go home!
Officially spring break now. I'm on the west end so they don't bother us as much.

Agree to disagree.  Snowbirds are the bane of our existence.  They are miserly, unpleasant and generally fuck up the town for 4 months.

And it aint just snowbirds. Summer is full of midwest and uppermidwesters now. If you had opened a shuttle service at either PCB/Bay or Destin Airport 5-7 years ago, you'd have a fortune now. They are most of what's in PCB in the summer now. Clogging up the roads, restaurants, vertical condos, etc. Those areas did just fine with "semi local" tourists for 40 years.
