Jason David Frank who was first the green ranger (enemy of the power rangers) who later became the White Ranger (their leader) is dead. Suicide at 49.
Apparently in the midst of a nasty divorce.
Weird what hits you hard. This one does. My daughter was a huge PR fan. It became part of our everyday routine. Kimberly, Trini, Tommy, Jason, Zack, Billy, Bulk, and Skull (well maybe not so much bulk and skull) were her first heroes.
Over the years we’ve met all of them at comic-cons — except for Jason David Frank.
His death won’t resonate with many. It does with me.
