Apart from the first half of the 2nd half (clear as mud?), when Brucey was tinkering with some weird lineups, the play was pretty good. The passing got a little sloppy right there as the worm was turning back in our favor and the refs were a BIT unbalanced in the calling of fouls, but that game was winnable.
I presume the rotation tinkering was a product of Wen's ankle not being ready to go. I really liked the Tre, Zep, Flan, Card, Broome look.
Saw someone on Twitter suggest that Cardwell oughta be set free to play the Horace Spencer role (4 & 5) and that makes a lot of sense to me. Having Stretch sit on the bench when he could be foul fodder around the rim is puzzling as well.
All in all, a totally winnable game (even playing 8 on 5) had we played a little better through the start of the 2nd.
Edit Note: we get hosed on Wednesday's broadcast from Seattle. Someone on Twitter suggested a free Tubi (or some off-brand shit) 7 day trial that will get you the full PAC-12 package. Just have to remember to cancel, unless you want a front row seat for Bo Nix raw-dogging that conference next year.
