Several bigly yuuge games this week in the SEC with Harzinz Horde heading down to Red Stick, Joey Freshwater prowling his old Co-ed hunting grounds, and Pittman's Piggies invading that shit-hole, known as Athens, Georgia. One burning question, though. Did you ever think you'd see the day when Cincinnati would be favored over Notre Dame? Okay, not that you would ever actually think about that. It just kind of jumped off the page to me. Soooo.....

Arkansas @ Fuck Georgia: I read where Arky has been a cover machine since Pittman took over. 11-3 against the spread, and this is a big one at 18.5. I'm not a betting man, unless you consider that I make sure and have my Lotto tix every week. But that spread looks outrageous, outlandish and out of bounds to me, given the way the Hogs have been playing. Are the nasty, mangy dawgs more talented? Absolutely. Are they going to go in dry on the Piggies? I don't think so. Still....

Ole Miss @ Bama: Last year, me and Snagette, and another couple went up to the mountains in north Georgia for a few days. That Saturday was when Auburn pulled one out of the ass against Arkansas. When that game was over, we found a neato-keen sports bar for dinner, beer(z) and football. Bama and Ole Miss were on and we couldn't take our eyes off of it. It was like watching a tennis match, back and forth, back and forth. I couldn't believe Ole Miss was just about running that ass out of the stadium. Hobby Lobby is better this year. They can actually play a little defense. Bama is good, but not 2020 good where they hung 50 on everybody. I think the Black Bears have a real shot here. The odds makers don't think so, putting the Tahd as a 14.5 point favorite. Matt Corral can light your ass up. He can also throw 5 interceptions in a hurry. I'm betting he has a Heisman moment. Calling it.

Ole Miss: 38

Bama: 35

Auburn @ LSU: I'm not a big believer in streaks having any effect on the outcome of a game. But the fact is, Auburn hasn't won in Baton Rude since the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. Last year's contest was the most complete game Auburn has played in some time, as they bludgeoned the Bengals by 37. I've said all season, that LSU is overrated. I still believe that. I also believe that Coach Bryinz Harvinz is going to demand that his players and coaches get their collective shit together. I don't care who starts under center. We kick ass and put names in our contacts Saturday.

Bama puts the clamps on defensively and runs against an Ole Miss front that so far this season spends 80% dropping 7 or 8 in coverage. Soft middle means body blows and that gives advantage to the home team.

Georgia 27
Arkansas 10
Arkansas is vastly improved but they are beat up. Going up against THAT defense already bruised isn't going to make it easier. The Dawgs may not be the all-world on offense still but they are more multiple than they were in previous incarnations. Points are going to be hard to come by for the Hogs.

I can foresee Auburn winning in a most stupid, unrepeatable way possible. Either we start Nix, he struggles, Finley comes in and such, Nix comes back to somehow save it. Or Finley starts, does the deer in headlights routine giving way for Nix to come in and do things. LSU will somehow dominate the stats but a combination of penalties and mistakes doom their efforts. Pundits will talk about how an Auburn win is really a loss but whatever. Escaping Red Stick late at night after a cat fight is going to require some Mission: Impossible like logistics stealth. Those hammered Cajuns will be out for blood.

I get what Yore sayin but...how many times are we gonna fall for the fools gold that is the vaunted FUGA D? They look good against inferior offensive teams. They literally have a 2 game schedule every year. Someone on the twatterz put together the state over the last 2-3 years including their first 4 games this year. On paper they look like a vastly different team against top 40 Offenses versus stat padding bottle dwelling offenses.

2021 - all shit offenses. Clemson's may be worse than ours.
2020 - 2 Top 25 Offenses in Florida and Bama - both hung 44 and 41 respectively on the dawgs.
2019 - 1 top 20 offense - LSU - hung 40 on them in the seccg and shut it down. This probably could have been 56 or 63 if LSU had wanted.

Numerous others the last 3 seasons have hung 20+ on them that weren't even good O's - Cincy, Tenn, South Car, Miss State.

I'll believe they have an elite D when they shut down Mullen, or Saban, or another team in the top 10 that is bonafide. They've yet to do that.
