I'm really late to the party here (there are 5 seasons, I believe).  But this show is awesome.  It's like a Breaking Bad/Narcos/Boyz N Tha Hood mashup.  Created by John Singleton.

Finally caught up and watched the series finale.

Phenomenal story, great cast/acting and an amazing easter egg in the last episode vis a vis Singleton's film work.

Guess I should flesh out the description:
The story of the CIA flooding SoCentral LA with pure Colombian marching powder in the early 80s (kickstarting the crack epidemic) through a local kid who ascends to the top of the criminal food chain.

you live an amazing, busy life to take nearly 2 years to watch 5 seasons of a show.  i would have finished that in 2 weeks.
