Has there ever been a more nightmarish of a season for Auburn than this one? 

Forget the season; how about the entire year? 

Alabama - Top Recruiting class
Auburn - Subpar Recruiting class

Alabama - Quiet training camp.
Auburn - Fights, rumors of racism, injuries

Alabama - Undefeated.  Surpasses all expectations.  Clinched SECCG spot. 
Auburn - 5-5.  Only 2 SEC victories that were won by a total of 4 points. 

Alabama - New OC.  Efficient offense that pounds the ball. 
Auburn - New OC.  Fired midseason.  Worst offense in SEC West.

Alabama - Dominant on the road. 
Auburn - One victory on the road.

Alabama - Possible coach of the year.
Auburn - Possible new coach for next year. 

Alabama - 35-0 for their homecoming game. 
Auburn - Tied at 20-20 (Div II school) in the 3rd quarter. 

Alabama - Injury free for the most part.
Auburn - Getting good work with our back ups for the most part.

I asked this question a few weeks ago.  Can anyone name anything positive that has happened to Auburn in 2008?  Did someone stab the wrong voodoo doll back in January?
