I know I axed this maybe a couple of years ago, but things in this industry seem to change almost monthly. I'm still stroking that big check to Rectum (Spectrum) for 700 cable channels that I don't need. Yes, it's idiotic to keep doing it, but every time I look around to see what's a better option, my head spins with all the stuff out there. Hulu and Fulu and Youtube and Fire Stix and Direct and....
I watch way too much TV but I'm pretty limited in what I actually focus on. Yes, I want my local channel for the local news, weather ,sports etc. As much as we all seem to hate em', I need my ESPN. I seem to watch a lot of shows on Discovery, and ghey as it might seem, I love some cooking, or foodie shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Snagette and I are doing some serious budgeting these days, trying to cut a ton of the waste from our spending. And roughly $250/mo. for 690 of the 700 channels we don't watch is one area we're looking to slash.
Any suggestions?
