33-year-old Wallderrick Pierce Carson of Center Point is charged in the murder of 30-year-old Deandre Antone Carter.
Carter was shot to death at a Center Point convenience store on Saturday night

Deputies were called to the A & A Convenience Store at 1100 Center Point Parkway around 10:00 p.m. Saturday. Detectives then asked the public for assistance in locating Carter.

Sunday afternoon, Carson called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office to discuss the previous night's incident. After the interview, it was determined that he would be arrested and charged in the shooting.
Carson is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with a $50,000 bond.
