I started a prediction thread the other day, wrote out my usual, insightful and extremely witty commentary on several games, hit post only to find that Six, in his own selfish desire to feel relevant, had just posted his own. I was disappoint. I've had a couple of days for some self introspection and have come to the conclusion that maybe I too, was a bit selfish. This board belongs to all of us. Yes, all 5 of us. Certainly, I recognize that there is room for other opinions and analysis and I harbor no ill will toward anyone who takes the initiative to do so. Having said that.....
Fuck you, Six!!! Don't you ever try to one-up me again with your wack-ass prediction threads. (Too harsh?) Now, on to this weekend's action.
I was an absolute Nostra Dumbass on two of the games last week. I said 31-28 Auburn (35-28) and kicked the Bama/UT game squarely in the ball sack with the spot on prediction of 48-17. As for LSU/Sakerlina, I looked like a newborn giraffe having an epileptic seizure. Juuust a bit outside. This week is so 2020. Two teams playing the CBS game of the week aren't even in the top 25. When was the last time neither Auburn or LSU held that distinction at the same time? Actually, I have no idea. But I'll bet it's a pretty long time. So, this week:
Mississippi State at Bama: The Tahd opens as 31 point favorite, and with the exodus of numerous players, including the opting out of MSU's best offensive weapon, it should be that at a minimum. Only thing to keep this to a 40 point blowout is Lord Saybinz emptying his bench early and often to keep any of his starters from getting Waddled.
Bama: 52
MSU: 14
Missouri at Florida: Go Gaytah has been off a couple of weeks with the Rona's, following a close loss to the Bonfire Boys. Mizzou sits at 2-2 with a high scoring win over LSU and handling a supposedly hot Kentucky team. This one could be good. The Tigers have taken care of bidnezz recently against The Fighting Jorts, and we don't know exactly how much the Gators have been practicing whilst dealing with the Covids. I'll still take UF in a close one.
Florida: 35
Mizzou: 30
Arkansas at Texas A&M: If memory serves, the Faggies have an 8 game winning streak against the Hogs. However, it seems these two have been in some wild games against each other lately as well. Flippee Franks has changed the dynamic of that offense, even thought they're still not all that good. But they, along with the D, seem to do enough to stay competitive. I keep waiting for the bubble to burst. I think it does this weekend. A&M has played well outside of the loss to Bama and I see them slowly distancing themselves from the Piggies as this game goes on.
Texas A&M: 38
Arkansas: 21
LSU at Auburn: Wait...we all did this one in that OTHER thread. I think Auburn wins this one. It's Halloween. It's 2020 and we get ALL the calls from the bias SEC refs who love em' some Auburn. Right?
Auburn: 28
LSU: 27
