Auburn opens as a 3 point road favorite here but if you look at the numbers, that doesn't add up.

South Carolina's strength is run defense (giving up 96 yards per game). To be fair, only one opponent appears to have a run game (Tennessee) but you play who you play. Muschamp's dudes give it up through the air to the tune of 234 a game. South Carolina's offense produces yards and points (averaging just under 400 yards a game and 30 points per).

Auburn's defense surrenders 155 on the ground and 265 in the air per game. And, like SCar, Auburn only has one stellar opponent so far and lost by a lot more of a margin. Auburn only surrenders 23 but the blowout to Georgia keeps the average offensive points to 22.

So, how does Auburn win this game? The passing game is the way to go but not the usual hurl it into space passing game from Auburn. All those cool crossing and mesh routes used against Kentucky would be useful here to chew up yards and clock. It's also smart to go with quick read and throw considering how much the o line struggles in protection and the happy feet of Bo Nix.

South Carolina is probably gonna do what Arkansas did (and what Georgia did in the second half). Run, let the clock roll, throw underneath, and play keep away.

As far as the matchup - another opponent appearing worse talent wise or more dysfunctional than auburn has never stopped a Gus coached team from losing before. See Tennessee two years ago. See Arkansas almost last week. I don’t trust anything this staff does. We know what we’re getting. I’ve fallen to the side of apathy and just know what’s coming. Trying to apply logic and or X’s and O’s To this is fruitless. It really is. And I wish it wasn’t.

Didn't watch a down and am glad for it. Had a feeling this would go south.

- Bo Nix still thinks he's in high school. Seth is done with him and looks like Flash is as well.
- Tank Bigsby is wasted behind the worst offensive line I've seen at Auburn since the 3-9 year and those guys would beat the shoot out of these guys. No toughness; no balls.
- Chad Morris is a grifter. I was totally wrong here. Wish I hadn't thought otherwise. Feel dumb now.
- This defense is gar-bage in pressure situations and they are going to give up soon. Cream puff in the redone. They aren't helped by this offense but still, they are not tough.
- Gus doesn't know wth to do ever
- When Will Muschamp outcoaches you, take the buyout and buy some Waffle House franchises you hack!

I'm not sure about 90%, but we are definitely seeing the results of no offseason prep. Maybe if we had an underground facility.

Maybe this will prompt Bo to find a few different receivers. I think he has been focused on Seth and Flash too much. He should be looking for a white or Navy jersey only, not a number.

I'm just stunned by how little talent we have on both sides of the line.  I've said this many times before.  This offensive line, save for one transfer from Akron, consists of the same schleps who couldn't beat out our horrible offensive linemen the last two years. They're quite pathetic.

Yes, we lost Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson.  How is it that the best two we have to replace them are Truesdale and Newkirk?  My gawd!  And Big Kat....why are you even dressing out?  Has he even been in on a tackle this year?  Not being sarcastic here.  I honestly haven't seen him near anybody. 

Chad, ya started out with a beautiful game plan.  Quick passes, and yes, the slants Auburn people have been screaming for, for years and years.  Distributing the ball to multiple receivers.  Then........  What happened, Chad?  Was the first series scripted? 

And Jamien Sherwood, please enter the transporter thingy asap.  You're an embarrassing, punk ass bitch.  Take your thug ass somewhere else, pleeeeeaase.
