Nice piece on Mr. Bigsby from Tom Green at the dot I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!! I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others. I like male genatalia in and around my mouth.
Auburn updated its offensive arsenal this offseason with the addition of offensive coordinator Chad Morris, as well as a variety of new weapons for sophomore quarterback Bo Nix.Yet it is the Tigers’ new Tank that seems to have fans most excited heading into the 2020, as freshman running back Tank Bigsby has generated the most buzz and anticipation since before he even stepped foot on campus. The former four-star recruit, who signed with Auburn during the early signing period last December and enrolled in classes in January, is one of the highest-rated prospects in program history and has a chance to see the field immediately in a retooled backfield that must replace the Tigers’ leading rusher from a year ago.“He’s a one-play drive type of guy,†Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said on signing day. “I mean, from anywhere on the field he can take it to the house. He’s got receiver-type skills with his hands. Very excited about Tank. We think he’s an impact player. We think he could help us immediately.â€Since arriving on campus in January, Bigsby has done nothing to make Auburn question that belief, either.Although the Tigers were robbed of traditional spring practices — and the leg up it typically provides early enrollees like Bigsby — the 6-foot, 204-pounder still made the most of the offseason, both during on-campus workouts and while players returned home early on during the coronavirus pandemic.“Tank Bigsby is a good worker, and that’s the exciting part about it,†Auburn strength and conditioning coach Ryan Russell said in April. “He’s a talented kid, obviously, but a good worker. (He) loves the game. This game is a lifestyle to him; it’s not just a game. He’s all about it.â€Now that practices have finally begun, Bigsby is looking to prove that as he tries to secure a role in Auburn’s wide-open backfield. Last year’s leading rusher, Boobee Whitlow, left the team in February, leaving a void at running back—as well as an offseason competition for the lead role. Bigsby is competing with junior Shaun Shivers, sophomore D.J. Williams (now the team’s leading returning rusher from 2019), as well as redshirt sophomore Harold Joiner and redshirt freshman Mark-Antony Richards.“He runs hard,†Shivers said. “He runs physical. That’s what we want. That’s what he came to Auburn for, just to play early and do the things we know he can do. He’s just performing well. He’s going to be real good for us this year, too.â€Bigsby, who rushed for 1,636 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior at Callaway High, is Auburn’s highest-rated running back signee since former five-star prospect Roc Thomas in 2014. All-time, he’s the fourth-highest rated running back to come through Auburn, behind Thomas, Michael Dyer and the man Bigsby now calls his position coach, Cadillac Williams.Dyer had the most successful freshman season of that group, rushing for 1,093 yards while helping Auburn to a national championship in 2010. Thomas carved out a role during his first season, too, but finished with 214 yards on just 43 carries, while Williams rushed for 614 yards and six touchdowns during his freshman campaign in 2001.With a need to be filled in the backfield this year, Bigsby is hoping he can seize the opportunity and have his own freshman impact.“Tank is one of those guys that has a lot of energy,†offensive lineman Brodarious Hamm said. “He’s always ready to go. He’s just hungry. He has that chip on his shoulder too, like he has something to prove. He’s just hungry for the ball. I feel like Tank is going to be a really good player here at Auburn. He just needs to sit back and watch the older guys and when his time comes seize the opportunity.â€And Bigsby hasn’t been shy about soaking up what he can from Auburn’s more experienced running backs, like Shivers. According to the junior, the two talk every day — in and out of practice — and Bigsby doesn’t hesitate to ask questions if there’s something he doesn’t immediately grasp. It has been that way since he enrolled in January, with Shivers describing him as “honest and outspoken†— adding that those are the kind of attributes that can be valuable to Bigsby’s success this season, regardless of the role he ultimately earns.“He’s a dude that wants to learn, that wants to learn every day, that wants to be right on everything, and that’s what kind of person you want in a room,†Shivers said. “Once you get a person like that in a room, you’re going to want to feed off him. That’s a guy that wants to play, that’s going to play early, and we’re just going to feed off each other.â€
