Fuck you Carolina.   I only liked you because of Cam.  

My limited collection of Panther gear is going in the salvation army bin.  

I don't really want to see Cam in any other uniform, though.  Of all the possible destinations I see for him the Chargers, Broncos, Bucs and Bears make me want to vomit on my shoes.  None of those would make me happy.  New England, though?  There would be a certain satisfaction if he went there, won a Super Bowl and proved that Brady was a product of the system.  I guess.  Fuck, I don't even like that.  

He was a good fit for the Panthers and for the community.  But they continually hindered him with shitty offensive lines and piss poor receivers.  They limited him with Mike fucking Shula as OC and then neutered him with Dinosorv Turner as Shula's replacement.  

Cam didn't help himself with the outrageous outfits and the outlandish personality but the man was almost enough of a singular offensive threat to win that team a Super Bowl.  What he did almost completely alone in 2015 was a miracle.   Defense and Cam, that was all that team really had.  And it was nearly enough. 

He deserves better than he's gotten there.  I just hate to see him anywhere else.  It's not going to feel right.

I've been somewhat of a Pats fan,  well maybe not fan, but more intrigued simply because that "system" is so fun to watch.  You always wondered how they were getting it done with a group of no name backs and  for the most part, receivers.

Cam would be interesting in NE; however, that group of no names has been translating into no talent lately.  They're going to need to go get some weapons no matter who goes there.

Having said that, outside of wanting to see Cam or any former Auburn player do gooder than other good players, I have zero allegiance to any pro team because of Auburn connections.  It's a business for them too.  When I went to see the Panthers play my Birds in the ATL, I wanted Cam to throw for 400 yards and run for 150 more.....but I wanted the Falcons to win by 30.  And I would have been perfectly fine if Julio caught 6 TD passes.
