I've drifted back into the "this is a ridiculous bullshit overreaction" at this point.
Knee-jerk bastards cancelling shit MONTHS out because .... who the fuck knows? College graduations already cancelled? Classes cancelled for the rest of the year?
Here's what's going to happen. This shit will go up a little over the next week, week and a half. And then?
Pfff...ffff....fffffff...fwaahhhhhhhh.
It's not going to come NEAR H1N1. It's not going to remotely approach Ebola. It's not going to scratch the regular fucking flu. There's a very good chance that you won't even know anyone first hand who actually had it. Oh, you'll have some diddle fuck you know who CLAIMS to have had it, but he didn't. Drama bitches.
I've yet to see the first iota of proof that it's truly SOOOOO much more communicable. I don't think it is.
Studies say it can live on clothes, that kids carry it, that millennials won't get sick, that it's in the air, that it's on your dog, that it lives on plastic, that it is delivered by the Easter Bunny. Horseshit. All of that is complete speculation. I read some long ass, fear-infused story about how the virus lives on plastic for up to three days and you could be infected from touching this, that or the other. And then, buried in the middle, is the admission that "there is no evidence whatsoever that anyone has contracted the disease in this manner, but they could" because IT LIVES ON PLASTIC!!!
Fuck all this noise.
FUCK the government telling businesses they have to close and lay off millions of workers.
This? I was on board for just a little while, but I'm riding the fuck YOU train again now. I'm riding it HARD. I really wish Trump had stuck to his "get over yourself" guns and just closed the border and told people to make sure they washed their hands. It would have been no worse than it is going to be anyway.
