If you ladies go about life as usual and survive, which you are both tough guys, so you may—you will be among the 85%.
You will basically have survived a bad cold. But you will also have infected 3.5 people, each.
Despite my brain damage, I’m likely still the smartest person on here. And yes, I realize Wes is still alive. Just take my word.
You won’t get a trophy for surviving and you will have contributed to keeping the virus alive.
It’s the 15% of more severe cases that we have to worry about. And even though Token thinks we should kill off all the fat smokers with diabetus, all of them aren’t in that category.
Older people can be in great shape and their immune systems still react to this virus in a way that causes lung secretions that they drown in. If you’ve ever heard the death rattle, you know what I’m talking about.
It ain’t pretty.
I’m encouraging you to not live life as normal. Do it for the elderly.
Do it for kaos and snags. Ok, maybe that’s a bad example. But surely there is someone over 60 that you want to live.
I don’t know what happened to jmar but he’s gotta be one. And he’s actually likable. Sani is awful close if not there. To being old, I mean. Not likable.
But seriously, it’s real. What happened in Italy and China. For the portion of 15% that need the ventilator and there aren’t any available, it causes that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach because I remember struggling to breath and it feels awful. Terrifying. Then the vent takes you from hell to heaven in that there is zero effort.
Overrunning our hospitals and ICUs can only be prevented by staying home and flattening the curve. It’s not about us individually. It’s about saving the old folks.
