North Carolina special election is a referendum on Trump's chances in 2020. With democrat Ben McCready leading in the polls, a loss in this race would portend a difficult re-election campaign for the president.

Today:
The closeness of Dan Bishop's narrow win over democrat Ben McCready, raise questions about whether Donald Trump and his party's candidates face troubling headwinds heading into 2020. 


So win or lose, it's a harbinger of doom for the greatest president of this generation (by far).  Ok.  Sounds legit.

And McCready was as close as he was because hes a shit ton more moderate economically than any of the never Trump buffoons running for POTUS on that side. Hes actually a self proclaimed capitalist.
