With a huge need at offensive tackle following the 2019 season, the Auburn Tigers added another big piece to the puzzle on Monday with the commitment of 6-7, 290
Kilian Zierer from College of the Canyons in California. With UCLA, TCU and others in the mix, Auburn was able to land one of the top guys on its board for the 2020 class.
Originally from Germany before moving to California to play junior college football, Zierer built a strong bond with the Auburn coaching staff and it paid off in a big verbal decision. Being recruited by
Kenny Dillingham and J.B. Grimes for the Tigers, Zierer said that played a big part in his decision.
"Auburn is also a great fit," Zierer told 247Sports. "Coach (Kenny) Dillingham and Coach (J.B.) Grimes have been recruiting me. I took my official visit down there in June too."
