Now let's see if the NCAA can get it closed as fast as they can before Nick has his career record changed.

Testimony in the ongoing series of trials and hearings regarding corruption in NCAA basketball continued on Tuesday, and took a significantly different path, with key FBI witness Marty Blazer, a Pittsburgh-area financial advisor at the center of the case, testifying that not only did he participate in schemes to pay prospective college basketball players, but to football players, as well.

Blazer testified that from 2000-14, he paid different amounts, from several hundred to several thousand dollars to players at Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Pitt and Penn State.

Pittsburghsportsnow.com has just issued an update to clarify and correct an error in its original reporting.  "Payments to players at Alabama" should have read "Payments to players at Alabama State". We are sorry for any confusion.  In other news, Ole Miss is about to have its probation significantly extended.

Al Dot Com is reporting on it too. Saying that since he paid players from 2010-2014, that statute of limitations might come in to play.

Alabama was in the NCAA probation window during that time frame (TextbookGate). I'm sure this will be swept under the rug...and a retroactive cease and desist letter is being hand delivered.

None of the players implicated have been a part of the team since the 1990 Sugar Bowl.
