Makes perfect sense for the Mets.  Mickey Callaway had zero managerial experience.

BTW, I met Callaway and his wife a few years ago down at Santa Rosa Beach.  They were living temporarily in a house across the street from one we were renting.  We were watching AU/Mississippi State that Saturday and they checked out a little of it with us.  He was pitching corch for the Indians at the time.  He's a Hobby Lobby grad so he was pulling against Dak Prescott.  His wife is hawt.

Yep, that's about it for my celebrity status.  I once met a fired MLB manager.  Did I mention is wife was hawt?

Well F&$#!!!!  The Braves inked Nick Markakis and Tyler Flowers to one year deals.  $4 mil each.  Markakis, I'm fine with. Veteran player who can still produce.  Solid all the way around and a steal at that price.

Flowers????  WTFickityfuckityfrump are they thinking?  In a word...well two words.....he sucks!  He's not that good a catcher. He's slow as molasses.  He hit a whopping .229 this year.  Plus, he's 157 years old. 

This does not cause the slightest bit of chub.
