Only the second time in club history where Cards have won 19 games in April.

Central shaping up like we thought with Cubs/Cards/Brewers within 3 games of each other. Still suspect it will come down to the Brewers and Cubs, but I'll take it.

Phillies, at 16-13, have only a 1 game lead on the mets.. I hope it's not too much longer before batteries are throw at Harper. Braves hanging around the .500 mark. They will get better.

Not unless we go get some pitching. I like our line up and I do think they'll hit all year and only improve. The pitching staff is only ahead of 5 teams in the NL. Two of those are the Dodgers and Mets so you know that won't last.

The Cards have been skrate money. Goldschmidtberg is paying serious dividends right now. 9 HR's and 30 RBI's while hitting almost 40 points below his career average. If he starts hitting anywhere near that career average, the season numbers are going to be sick.

Watched a good bit of the Cards and Phillies last night. Mikolas (sp?) was nasty all night. When he got that big breaking ball working with the 95 m.p.h. heat, he had them way off balance.

Cards 2-8 and really shitty. Roll into Wrigley for 3, then start 7 game homestand with the best record in baseball, end it 3.5 our of first in the division.
