Maybe the motherfuckers ought to be worried about how shitty they played the rest of the game.  Don't ever put yourself in a position to let the refs/a bad call beat you.

Fuck'em I'm glad they are melting down.  You know what else?  I hope New England wins again so I can hear more whining about how unfair life is to everyone else.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

NFL to consider making PI reviewable.

GH is right. Knee jerk overreaction.  You could call PI or holding or SOMETHING on every play.

It’s asinine to think as Saint fans almost universally do that the game was rigged because of that call.  The only way it was rigged is it all the plays before were scripted, if Payton was in in on it to call that play, Brees was in in on it to make a crappy throw and the Ram DB was in on it too.

But if you start allowing penalties to be called from the booth? Then you are actually on the road to where rigging can occur.

It was a bad call. It wasn’t, as Saints fans insist, the apocalypse.
Never mind the non calls in the other direction earlier in the game that were just as blatant. Notably the two face masks. Those took away points from the rams which would have made that non call PI not even really matter.

That pass wouldn’t have even mattered if all the other calls had been right....the other team can play the woulda coulda card too.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

The false narratives are extremely similar, actually.

A "friend" sent me this picture of Nathan Phillips (the protester at the center of the Covington controversy) with this screed about how he was a Vietnam veteran who didn't have "bone spurs" and went to war for the country that discriminated against his people.  And how he banged his drum peacefully before being accosted by Pro-Trump youth...

None of that is true.

Then tonight in a hotel bar I heard two Saints fans commiserating, having accepted and entire false narrative that's just as outrageous.

One referee prevented the other from throwing a flag because he ran screaming "bang bang" at him. (False).  The lawsuits filed against the NFL have a good chance of succeeding because they can prove one referee used to play for the Rams and another lives in LA (false).  Because of that they might have to delay the Superbowl until it gets resolved. It might go to the Supreme Court or there could possibly be Congressional hearings.  Either way, there's a chance something could be done.  It's not over.  Definitely going to have all pass interference calls reviewed from here on out.

The longer that went, the more outlandish it got.  Could they force a complete game do-over?  Would they just let them start from the point of the penalty?

I wanted to punch my liberal friend in the face.  I told him point blank that his entire narrative was bogus and he lost his mind and just started ranting about how Trump was destroying civility.

I wanted to punch the Saints fans in the face.  I interrupted their bellowing to say I didn't think the ref was shouting "bang bang."  They lost their minds and started bringing up replays they apparently had saved on their phones.

World gone crazy.

Here's a sampling from today's NOLA.com

1) No Call Jazz Funeral and Parade complete with flags (instead of beads) to throw and a ceremonial burial of items related to the Game that May Not Be Mentioned is set for Sunday.

2) The Boycott Bowl concert festival will occur Sunday in NO.  At least 16 local bands confirmed to play.

3) Harry Connick calls Roger Godell to tell him he's boycotting the SB.

4) Black and Gold Second Line parade to protest the Game that Must Not Be Mentioned is set for Sunday.

5) NFL should provide draft picks to compensate for blown call

6) See videos of Super Bowl tickets being tossed in the trash

7) How to boycott the Superbowl and make a ratings impact

8) Former ref shares thoughts on No Call

9) CBS analyst shares thoughts on No Call
