It's happened, I don't know how it's possible but we are even more fucked.

SO apparently Gustard has offered Freeze a one year contract, Freeze wants a multi-year deal.  FSU has offered a multi-year but Freeze would rather be in Auburn.  UT is also on the table but UT admins are not sure if they want him based on his past deeds.

Gustard can't offer more than a year because the PtB won't allow him to offer more than that, (basically, because we all know we don't want to pay more buyouts after next year).  So Auburn is a sinking ship essentially.

We won't fire him, he won't quit...and the rest of us plebs have to deal with the shitty football product!

As I was getting at in another thread, I think it is bullshit that the SEC will tell one team that they can't hire Freeze but later in the year allow another team to do it.  If you're going to blackball him, then blackball him through a cycle to make it fair to everyone.  He would be a damn good OC wherever he goes.

Short Version: 

First, Sankay never said $aban couldn't hire Freeze he said he strongly suggested against it, $aban complied.  Also, the biggest factor seemed to be that the sanctions against Ole Miss were still yet to be known.  Now that it has passed and the sanctions are what they are, I don't think it's as big a deal.  SEC offices still may be saying don't hire him we may be saying fuck off.  I don't know.

My point is really that, short of a show cause, the SEC shouldn’t stick its nose in who any school is hiring.  Whether they are asking, insinuating, or stating definitively; it doesn’t matter.

Sorry. You aren’t making much sense dude. Godfather laid it out pretty well. It’s been a year. A lot has changed. You act as if two teams were trying to hire if him in the same week. That was one year ago. If you tried to hire him now you’d probably be able to get him no issue.
