So the democrats regained "control" of the house and that leathery ghoul Pelosi and that crack addicted moonbat Crazy Maxine are gloating. They see it as some sort of Lenin-ish mandate to oppose the (greatest) President (of our lifetime) at every turn.
But it's not what they think it is. Despite every celebrity in the world shitting from the mouth, there was no "blue wave." There was no (as they seem to believe) repudiation of Trump. In fact, I'd say the opposite occurred.
Pretty much everywhere Trump campaigned, the people he supported won. In head-to-head campaign stops against Obama (worst president in history), Oprah, Beyonce and the rest of the hollyfuck cabal, Trump's candidates won.
So why did the Republicans lose (narrow) control of the house? Because so many of the members of that legislative body either ducked in fear at the beginning of his administration and resigned or they refused to support the policies he tried to implement. The assholes who wouldn't back his healthcare reform? Many of those clowns got voted out. The jackasses who didn't stand with him on immigration? A lot of them got sent packing.
Other than that airheaded Occasionally Cortez, none of the lunabat locoleft candidates were elected. The democrats who won were typically more moderate and (probably lyingly) vowed to work with Trump, not oppose him.
As I look at it today, I honestly believe that if the members of the House had embraced Trump and tried to work with him at the outset we'd be shed of this onerous Obamacare, there would be no migrant caravans stalking the country and the Republicans would have maintained control and potentially gained seats.
I don't see anywhere that people were "rejecting" Trump, only that they were looking for change in their local representation.
If that lunatic Pelosi shrew tries to take this as some call to arms? Hollywood nutcases aside, I think it blows up in her leather face.
