My question still hasn't been answered. To jmar's post above, it does look like they are rushing shots trying to be productive...perhaps in fear of losing PT?

It would be a shame if depth were a liability rather than a luxury.

They average taking 31 three pointers a game. I understand that's their forte but with Spencer, Purifoy, Okeke, McLemore and Wiley ranging from 6'7" to 6'11", you have to establish some inside presence. If all a team has to do is guard the perimeter and watch a couple of guys who drive it on occasion, you really limit yourself.

The turnovers? I got nuthin'. Just take care of the ball. My wife does.

Thatâ€™s exactly what happened against both state and ole miss. Esp ole miss. Inside presence was absent. It breeds other issues on the perimeter.

So...now they look like last year's team. Streaky, to be sure, but this is the best version of this team: all the bigs getting involved to take heat off the perimeter.

Harper and Brown need nothing said, but how about Doughty, Dunbar and Okeke?

Horace stepping up his game and Wiley learning how to play through the contact is getting me moist.

The officiating was garbage, but our guys took care of business and threw down some FUNK in the process (see: Malik Funbar and Chuma "How My Balls Taste?" Okeke.)

The breakout (this season) star of the game, though, was Anfernee McLemore. The kid is back and he has shaken the gremlins that accompany recovery from an injury as gruesome as his. Great to see him swatting, dunking and balling-the-fuck-out.

Next up: @A&M...who beat Bama today on a buzzer-beater 3.

McLemore (this is Fucking Awesome) finally looked like his old self. Was good to see him back, hopefully, he can keep it up.

Probably because he hasn't done shit when he is in the game. I haven't seen him make 1 play while he is on the court, and it's not from lack of PT. Dude just hasn't performed when he has had the chance.That's on him.
