Auburn vs UNC Ashville -  Will be on the regular TVs SEC Network Channel

Should handle their business tonight.  UNCA is 1-6 and most losses weren't close and to weak sisters of the poor.  They've got a pretty tough stretch coming up in Dayton, UAB and NC State.  Have no clue what Dayton is doing this year but they are always a solid program. UAB is 5-2 so far and the Wolfpack are 7-1 with the lone loss a close one to Wisconsin.  Get through that and maybe Pearl keeps his job.

That was a fun, bench-clearing romp.

The offense was spotty and I think it's because they knew they were so much more talented than UNCA that they were trying all sorts of schoolyard plays.  They'll need to be more disciplined against Dayton...and the rest of the schedule.

It was quite a block party...even Will Macoy (who???...Number 22 in your program and Number 1 in your heart) got in the game, delivering the 12th block for Auburn with 1:15 to go.

Nice test coming up Saturday...and your boy will be in attendance.  Anyone else planning to make the trip?

Yeah, the Flyers will put a better product on the court Saturday.  Two things about last night.  UNCA took 80% of their possessions down to the final seconds of the play clock, sometimes not getting a shot off.  They slowed things down as much as they could.  Combine that with some poor shot selection by AU in the first half and you got a low scoring affair.

Second, that's as good as I've seen the War Eagles play defense in close to foevah.  11 or 12 blocks and they absolutely hounded the ball up top.  Their guards were struggling all night to make any clean passes.  You play that kind of D every night and the rest will take care of itself.
