Does Purifoy come off the bench or does he replace Doughty?

I love the way this team is playing right now and I hate to disrupt that chemistry, but I don't know if I could justify leaving DJ on the bench for any appreciable amount of time.

Same here. What I would hope is about twelve to fourteen minutes and get acclimated slowly.
Could be a godsend if Purifoy were unselfish enough to fulfill a sixth man role as needed but that takes a special ego. Nah!
As you know we already have Brown capable of 30 but he could also just as easily go 4-20.
The problem is when you get two guys launching skuds at the same time. That's precisely when defense goes to shit.

Good guys slay the dragons in OT, 75-71.
AU was cold as ice. UAB had great individual efforts.
Purifoy got 7 minutes first half and looked OK. But it was hard to judge with the whole team looking blah.
Harper hits like 13/14 free throws to basically win the game.

Fire Bruce now. It's a ground swell of support. Tight game. If u didn't watch. UAB scored all their points down the stretch on pull it outcher ass 3's. This team is good. Not great by any stretch. More than anything else, I love the way they play D.

When Bryce is on we are very good. This was just one of those games where he struggled but to his credit he fought his ass off on defense.
Glad we had Harper to take it to the hole and get to the line.

Just one of those games where the other team as you noted is making ridiculous shots and you have to find a way.
