Malzahn's buyout as of Dec. 1 will be $32,143,750, according to the database, which if also fifth among all head coaches, behind Fisher ($68,125,000), Meyer ($38,058,402), Swinney ($35 million) and Saban ($33.6 million).

With regard to recruiting, that's the one area this man and his staffs have always been top shelf. Granted, they've been a big floppity flop in the O-line category in recent years, which is a big part of our offensive woes right now. Otherwise, we've been able to put a 4 or 5 star guy on the field at every position since he's been here.

It's the development of players, schemes and play calling (All on offense) that have tanked.

I think Alabama tried that this past spring, but the SEC told Saban that he shoudln't do it. Not for a NCAA reason, but more along the lines of perception and how Ole Miss would be on probation, and Freeze would be coaching at one of their rivals.
