I saw this chart presented by Karl Rove on Fox News Sunday this past weekend and it's really not looking good for McCain if these numbers hold out for the next four weeks (Election Day is four weeks from today). The Obama has become solidly ahead in New Mexico, Colorado, and Iowa (which were solidly "red-states" in 2004) and he's carried the electoral fight to Nevada, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. Admitting that all of these states are within the margin of error The Obama already has 273 electoral votes (270 needed to win). As I understand it this chart is based on state-by-state polling on a 14 day average.
http://www.rove.com/electionThe chart referenced is also shown below along with a copy of the 2004 presidential election result chart.
Assuming this information is correct and nothing really changes much in the next four weeks (and it CAN change...keep hope alive) The Obama will be
our the next president.
ALIAKUM SALAAM.
