Saturday should be a chance to work on the running game and give Malik Willis some reps with the read option in real time. No excuses against The Sting, who barely scraped by Tuskegee. Handle your business and get some young guys in.
Looking back on the SEC last week though, I think the conventional thought is that the SEC West is "back". Saw an article on the dot I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!! I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others. I like male genatalia in and around my mouth. saying this will be Malzahn's biggest test to date because it looks like everyone in the West is legit. It could be. The Tahd rolled. Auburn beat #6 Washington. LSU pimp slapped The U. MSU steamrolled Stephen F. Austin. Ole Miss easily handled Texas Tech and Arkansas pounded Eastern Illinois. But...
Not so fast, my friend. Bama's gonna' Bama. Especially with the greatest QB ever to suit up at any level. I'm not going to take anything away from LSU, but the reality is that highly overrated Miami finished last season with a loss to mighty Pittsburgh. Then, Clemson stole their lunch money and made them do their homework (38-3) Then Wisconsin handled them easily in the Bowl game. So Miami is currently on a 4 game losing streak.
MSU whipped SFA in impressive fashion. That's great. Anyone checked out SFA's results from last year? That team was fucking awful. Got drilled by teams I'd never heard of. Same with Arkansas' opponent. Eastern Illinois was losing just about every single week to 6A high schools. Pitiful program. As for Ole Miss, as I believe K said earlier, their QB and receivers looked quite good. But let's face it, TT gave up 40+ five times last season and 35 two other times. They're known for shootouts, not defense. And I believe their QB went out early in that game if I'm not mistaken.
The West may be damn stout. Time will tell. But, I'm not reading anything into week 1.
