For only the second time in my adult life I've watched a man make promises on the campaign trail and then deliver on those promises with no regard for his own popularity, what the polls say, what the morons who populate the newspapers and TV stations say, what focus groups say. He's doing exactly what he was elected to do -- and doing it better than any president I can ever remember.
